a few things that are interesting:

- its looks are so the same..
- nothing new... same as the photo but smaller
- they removed the mini!!!!
- battery life continues being bad - 14 hours..
- why is the headphone port on the bottom? imagine putting in your pocket

though the best part is the size! its tiny

how abt for you?

4gb colour screen flash player for $249 is quite good
but it headphone port on the bottom? Also I don't think they should scrap the ipod mini, it's so popular.

It makes sense in a way. the nano will be upside down in your pocket, when you take it out it's easier to have it facing you then if it's right-side-up in your pocket. Like how the shuffle is upside down when its held by the lanyard.

Makes almost no difference either way though, I don't care.

14 hours battery life is hardly 'continually bad'

Makes almost no difference either way though, I don't care. It all depends on which pocket you use! :) For a shirt pocket, it won't really work well. For almost any other pocket, it will work great.

i would never recommend shirt pockets anyway, thats how i dropped my baby, bent over to pick something up and it bounced across the concrete. that was a sad day.
