Hi there.

First time reader, and finder of this forum. Good to see there's a hellava lot of people willing to help here.

Anyway.

I'm currently using the standard iPod earphones on my 4G 40Gb iPod. This is the second pair I've gone through due to the amount of sweat that has gotten into the speaker while on runs, and destroyed the sound from them (funnily enough, it sounds as though they're playing under-water now).

So, I've been looking at new, better ones to replace them with this time. Does anyone have an opinion? I don't have a problem with them falling out, as I run them up and over the back of my ears first (though when I take them out to try to shake the sweat out mid-run - it's a right game trying to get them back in and staying in!!)

I'm currently eyeing up the Shure E3c's - but I don't want to spend £60 unless they're going to do the business.

Any help anyone can be would be greatly appreciated.

John.

If you are into bass then UE 5EB will be right choice but if you just want balance sound and right amount of bass then E3c and ER6i right choice too

Hi Snoop,

Thanks for that - I'll bear that in mind for sound quality, but what are they like for dealing with sweat in the ear canal? Will they fill up and get destroyed like the basic buds? Or can they deal with this problem a lot better?

Thanks in advance.

John
