Earbuds for less than $40?

I've been using the iPod earbuds for quite some time, but I would like to buy some in-ear earbuds because I like to listen to my music pretty loud. Now, I'd rather buy a car than some Shure E5's, so I want to use less than $40. I'm thinking about buying Sony EX51/71's but thought I should post here first.

I hate to say it, but my fave earphones so far, comparing Sony, Sennhauser, etc. has been a $20 pair of Philips I got at Target. I dislike the asymetrical cord, but they are comfy, sound good, and do what I want.

Beside the Sony EX51/71/81, there are wide range of headphones under $40. You may check out the JVC, Panasonic and Pioneer.
