iBeat Alluminating Earbuds?

I've seen the new iBeat light up headphones, and I think they are really cool, but are they worth the $30?

Are they that cool, that $30 is a deal?

If you are going for the cool effect, which to me I think it is not cool, definitely go get it. However, I would like to spend that money on upgrading the stock ibud to something like a Koss Ksc75 or a Sen MX500 to get better sound out of iPod.

Thanks for your opionions. I get that if I want light up headphones, I should get them. I guess that they are a bit geeky. Light up headphones.. hmm.. the more I think about it.. the less they appeal to me!
