ipod is screwy and warranty is almost up...

Okay, so my ipod (4generation - hp - 20gb) has recently run into a few problems. The first is that some songs are skipping and the other problem is the battery life appears to be really short.


What do I do? My warranty is almost up(I believe in late october) and I dunno If I should do something about the problems before it is to late.

Another problem is that I dunno if Fry's Electronics will do anything for me (that's where I bought it from). So I'm just lost on what to do next after seeing these problems, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am in the same position as you but my warranty has expired by one month and now I have a useless pod. I suggest you return it asap, if your sure the battery is not holding the charge. Just go to apple.com/uk and complete a return form. They send you a box to return it in, easy. It´s nothing to do with where you brought it. Hurry though.
