New ER4 with Twisted cables???

Hey, whatssup with that? I was thinking of buying another pair of ER4 and it seems the new one come with twisted cables. Doesn't it make the cable stiffer? I don't want people to think I am wearing some kind of wiskers or tiny oxygen tubes!

I am not sure about if the new one comes with twisted cable or not.

However, twisted cable will make the microphonics less, and I think this ganna make ER4 much better because the #1 complain about ER4 is the microphonics.

I thought the microphonics effect is been resolved a long time? A while back I compared two over-the-ears headphones and remembered a Sennheiser brand, I couldn't hear anything when I slapped the cable vs a clearly audible cheaper brand. Does oxygen-free cables help or is it oxy-hype?
