Well, here begins my sad story. One day I was walking at school very happy listening to my new iPod (that I got a couple of weeks ago). It is inside the case taht came with it which I was planning on replacing with the iSkin when it's released. I decided to clip it onto my belt. The thing is that the belt was sorta loose and my iPod Case slowly started to turn. I was halfway to the bathroom when I heard a craaaa followed my the lovely sound of plastic scraping on concrete. I looked down and my BRAND NEW 15GB had slipped out of the #### case and slid 3 feet!!!

This was the saddest day of my life, which happened to be today. There are some pretty deep scraped on the front plastic of my iPod. I tried the iCleaner but no go. I don't know what to do, It's bugging me soo much. I don't have a clue on what to do, I don't think I can return it or anything. If I can't find a solution to this I might just buy a case for it so I wont have to look at the scratches but one of the reasons I bought it was because it looks so #### cool! I was thinking of selling it and getting a new one if that Dell deal ever came back but who knows if it ever will. Well, this end's my sad tale, any help will be appreciated. Peace...

Meh, I'm always worried about my iPod slipping off (I have it in the Apple case attached to my belt) and falling into the toilet or urinal when I'm using the restroom :P

Always keep my belt synched tight ;)

Check the iPodlounge Tips/Tricks section on removing scratches
here (http://www.ipodlounge.com/tips_more.php?id=124_0_11_0_C). Good luck dealing with that unfortunate accident!

Hmmm... tricky... I suppose if you didn't mind altering the appearance of the ipod you could always get some paint & make it a true piece of art!

I know, I know, the iPod is it's own beauty, I understand that. But if I had accidently scraped up my iPod to the point of no return I would try to make the best of it. Otherwise, everytime you looked at it all you would see would be the big ugly scrapes & it would make you sad -- which would suck because iPods are supposed to make you happy.

sorry about your 'pod.

thank you all for your comments, I have been considering selling my iPod to one of my friends who dont care about teh scratches. They say I'm overreacting. It may just be me, but when I drop and scrape up my brand new $400 iPod, I tend to get sad/mad/frustrated/dissapointed ;) . Anyways, I was going to sell it to one of my friends for $350 and get another one for $380 on Amazon.com w/free shipping & no tax. If not, It'll stay in the case foreverand I would forever use the remote :D . About painting it, I wouldn't know where to start. If I can't sell it, I'll continue to look for a solution. Again, thank you for your responses
