copying photos from ipod

I had great luck copying music from my iPod to my PC. Is it possible to copy my iPod's photos as well?

only ir you check the "copy full size originals" checkbox under

preferences> ipod> photos

in itunes

...and I assume the "sorry" part is that I needed to make that checkmark prior to the original placement of those photos on my iPod.... Bummer...

To copy the photos from the iPod back to the computer you will have to:
1-Check the 'Full Resolution' box under Edit>Preferences>iPod (while it's connected)-or-
2-Use 3rd party software that will transfer the thumbs back to the computer
..X-Play has a plug-in for photos that will do this and you can see this thread:
