I've always had this problem.
Using Windows XP, latest itunes and iPod mini
I import my M3U playlists, made in winamp, into iTunes and they list at the side, however when I update my ipod I'll get the message that some songs will not be added because they cannot be found. Only the most recent playlist that I added will be put on my iPod.
This means if I want to put several playlists on at once I need to do it one by one. VERY time consuming.
The general process is this.
1) Import a playlist
2) Update iPod
3) Import next playlist
4) Click 'Ok' to the message saying the songs I only just imported can no longer be found. (a ! appears next to the files)
5) Update iPod
6) Repeat 3-5 over and over until all playlists are added.
I'm sure there is a reason for this.
Also, when I tried to import my Music folder, for some stupid reason iTunes imported every song twice and in somecasesthree times, nearly tripling the total size of music going on the iPod.
I hope there's a simple answer to this.
