iPod files in use by another program

Im trying to disconnect my iPod from my computer but keep getting this error message. Obviously, Ive looked at all the programs running, and ended all the unecessary ones, but keep getting the error message. Ive also tried.

This is weird because Ive been getting a lot of errors with my iPod lately. Ive been getting the chkdsk errors, and certain songs won't play(I forgot the error message, and it wont display the error message anymore, it just doesn't play).

For now, is it safe to disconnect the iPod without ejecting it?

I got this message too, and it was directly after I enabled my iPod as a hard disk and updated it.

Go to the taskbar and there should be somewhere a "Safely Remove Hardware" thing. Double click that, select the USB/Firewire device your iPod is connected to, and click Stop. The "Do Not Disconnect" logo and text should disappear.
