Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. This is a two-tiered question. I shared an IMAC - G5 for about a year with my former, with many songs which were downloaded onto two respective IPODS. We moved on and unfortunately being the guy, I was stuck getting a new computer. I mistakenly and ignorantly assumed that the songs could be and would somehow easily upload to the new PC. In the process of installing the software on my computer, my IPod was reformatted. However, the iPod has not been written on, so I have been told the data could still be there. I just want to recover songs on my iPod, and transfer them into Itunes on my PC (this could compound the problem?) . .Like many of you know, I spent a lot of time uploading, downloading from Itunes, etc. and the songs were my heart and soul. Please HELP!!

My IPOD seems a bit jacked too . . I am seeing an Icon with a battery and an exclamation point, and when it is connected it seems to indefinitely remain on the do not disconnect mode.

Thanks -
