Hey all,

I'm a pool guy and my ipod keeps my company while I retrieve leaves, dirts, lizards and small rodents from various customer's pools.

Heres the question - what case could I use to protect my ipod should I slip or something and fall in to the pool?

Im not looking for one of those ipod cases that lets you like surf or deep sea dive and listen to music at the same time - just looking for something that will assure my little white friend survives if he happens to fall in the water for a few moments.

Any help would be great, thanks!

Here's where you might want to consider an iPod shuffle as a companion player to your iPod. The shuffle can be fitted in one of Apple's sport cases, which would probably offer the protection you're looking for. Depending on how long your workday is, the shuffle will hold at least a workday's worth of tunes (8 hours or so), and maybe more if you get a 1GB model.

Other than that, maybe an OtterBox?

The Shuffle might be a better choice but if you don't want to purchase one then there is a case that will help protect it from water here:
