will a 3g 40 gb ipod case liek the one that uhhh comes with it fit a 20 gb 4g photo? im not sure...cuz mine hasnt arrived yet...

The 20GB player would probably fit but not be particularly tight inside the case. The 40GB 3G I have came with the case and it's snug, which prevents it from slipping out. There's a support article on Apple's website about the different cases and what models each one fits (based on a number on the tag inside the case). Check there for reassurance...
