I have a white Contour Design Showcase 4G for my iPod 20GB (Colour). I only had it for two weeks, and the white isn't as white anymore. I read on the forum that the case can turn dirty that you can't get it white again. Are there any tips on how to make sure my case stays white as long as possible? I also would like to know what's the best way to clean my case. Just wash it with warm water?

all i can say is that you should have gotten the black one.

I picked the white one because I think it looks better with the white iPod. I tried the black one in the store, and it looked tacky (in my opinion). I personally think the black ones are better off with the U2 iPods.
Anyway, instead of recommending what "I should have got", I prefer a real answer to my question.

I'm not sure washing it will help.. I've heard dying it to a different color is useful.. but since you like it white, try washing it.. and try not to put it in/on dirty places.. it can get real yellow. Anywhoo, sorry I wasn't of much help. Good luck with your Contour Showcase. :]

Wash it with a warm water and dishwasher detergent solution. That works for me!

Glad to see this post... I just bought a white Contour Showcase for my 20GB photo yesterday and it already has a few marks on it and I've barely used it at all! I am one of those overly picky types anyway so I want to keep it as pristine as possible. I was thinking about some kind of silicone treatment to maybe help repel fingerprints and other elements... kind of like an auto rubber trim treatment.

has anyone tried using the Clorox Bleach Pen?

I wonder if it would help clean the showcase....

You are owned by your posesions man.
Its a case.. its meant to protect the ipod... its not meant to matter if you scratch it...
The way you talk sounds asthough u need a case for your case...
Kinda defeats the purpose...

I don't think it's a matter of whether it get scratched (mine is pretty scratched up) -- at least it's not the case for me.
It's just that the white contour showcase turns YELLOWish over time, and it just looks bad. And clashy.
I'd just like for the white to go back to a white color, not so much about not wanting to get scratches on the case.

I've already asked this in another thread, but maybe a Contour Showcase owner could answer the question.
I'm trying to find out what size the dock hole is in the base. I'm considering the showcase for my new 20GB colour and I want to use it with a PocketDock.
A size in mm would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I just checked, and my bottom hole is 29 mm by 10 mm.

Thanks.
The hole is too small unfortunately.
It looks like I will have to wait for the new InnoPocket Magnum.
