I've been using my 3rd gen. 30 gig. IPOD for about a month now with noooo problems using Musicmatch for windows XP. Lovin' every minute of it! But...
Yesterday, after finding out from postings about the "recorder feature" hidden in the IPOD, I was curious. I held the PLAY and MENU buttons for few seconds... got to the APPLE icon... then I bailed out. I was worried of doing something that could not be undone or damaging something. (I'm not the most techno-savy fellow I know.) So the main menu came back, all of my music is still here, looks fine.
But last night, I loaded up some new CDs into Musicmatch. Went to load them into the IPOD, but MM will not recognize the connection. It just says "No Handheld devices".
Any thoughts??? I really don't think that I messed anything up. From my understanding, all I did was a "Reset". Please help if anybody knows a solution. Thanks.
