I've got 30gb 'new style' ipod with windows XP.
Use mainly ephpod and music match aswell.
I seem to have lost all 7000 songs even though when you view
the drive it shows that the IPOD is 26.9GB used up with
935MB free space.
I've been into Ipod_control/Music where all the 'f' directories
are but there's no music showing in the 'f00' etc directories.
I've tried 'search for lost songs' &
'rebuild databse from ipod' - no luck !
I've searched for help on internet, to no avail so far.
I don't tend to back up any music files (i.e. don't synch) once they are on the IPOD due to the space they take up.
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
