I'm not sure where the problem lies with my iPod, but hopefully someone else can help me figure it out. :)
It was given to me this weekend, and is a 40g iPod. I was at my parents house, and used my father's iBook
to download the cds I had with me onto it, and everything worked fine.
Now I'm back at school, and can't get it to connect to my computer. My computer doesn't recognize it.
I'm running win98SE on my computer, and have been able to install the updater.
However, in the devise manager, I think the iPod is recognized, except that it shows up with a yellow
question mark and exclamation point.
I'm really not sure what to do now. I have a USB 2.0 and FireWire connector, but, unless the computer
comes with a FireWire card, I don't have that -- and don't know if I need it?
So -- help!
I'm at a loss as to what to do.
