On the 6 o clock news a few weeks ago, they did a news report on apple. They mentioned that Apple has been trying to set up video capabilites on their iTunes music store, and have been trying to buy the rights and whatever legalities correspond with the record companies to be able to provide these videos to iTunes users at a price. They then discussed a possibility that apple will include these videos on their portable devices, but made no clear response as to an iPod video.
oh well. I think an iPod video will be cool anyways. For all those who simply like to listen to only music, they can buy a normal iPod. I think apple is going to market this like they did the photo: make buying it an option without converging the iPod line into a new territory (photos) just yet, that way... both types of iPod users will be happy.
peace.
