Does anyone know a program that does this easily? I have all of my CD's (10 gigs) all burned in WMA format, and I need to convert them to MP3 to use in my IPOD. Does anyone know how to do this? I am getting my Ipod in a couple weeks and I just want to get all of my music ready to transfer to it.

Thanks for the help

and the WMA codec

A very handy program. I used it for my old MP3 player, going from MP3 to WMA, but you surely can do it the other way. Just remember, you don't benifit from selecting a higher bitrate, you can't 'gain' information.

I have used dbpoweramp to convert WMA to MP3. It works very well, but.....

You do need to check your ID3 tags afterwards as these can get a bit screwed.

As Adam says "Just remember, you don't benifit from selecting a higher bitrate, you can't 'gain' information."

Match the bit rates, but you will find the MP3 files to be larger than the WMA original.
