Copying Music to PC from your IPOD

I've noticed that several users have asked how to copy music from their IPOD to their PC. The easiest method that I use is:


1. With the ipod listed as another drive on your computer, open its music files.
2. Open the folder on your harddrive to which you want to copy the files.
3. Copy any files from the ipod music folders and paste them to the appropriate PC folder.

That works fine except that since the music is randomized across all 20 F folders, it makes it kind of difficult to find specific tunes.

Add to that, that some programs (ephpod, mc9) change the file names when they upload them...it makes it darn near impossible.

Also, it's easier to just use it in the respective programs per this sticky (http://ipodlounge.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4719).
