View Full Version : Best Case 20gb iPod Color?
Hi, I just ordered my new 20gb iPod Color from apple.com and Ive run into a little dilema with what to do about a protective case. The dilema being I dont know jack about what is the best case. Im sure u guys have been over this before but i cant find a thread for a 20gb Color. Also, because I ordered from Apple i was able to get laser engraving on the back and itd be nice if there was a case that allowed me to see the engraving while still protecting the back from scratches. From the research ive done it looks like the frontrunners are the Contour Showcase and Agent 18 Clickshield. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Both are good but the Showcase seems more protective.
the incase folio. It is a flip case made like a diary and has a clear PVC screen for the back. It is made for the U2 edition so its black and red.

i just got an isee, and works fine. wut are the chances 15 mins after i put it in the case, i dropped it on the floor. holds it fine, its really tight though. it put some scratches on the back of the ipod though
i would advise the showcase and the iskin evo2 arctic. The showcase is extremely protective and does allow you to see part of the engraving if its on the top engraving spot. Overall its probly the best ipod case. The iskin evo2 in arctic doesnt give you as much protection as the showcase does, but its quite a bit smaller and does protect against drops, but not to the same extent. The arctic color is frosted so you can see the engraving on the back of the ipod.

I use the DLO clear silicon case for mine. Allows yu to see your engraving if you wish and makes the iPod less slippery.
Only thing about it I disliked was the screen protector part, which made the screen hard to see/read. I cut that out and it's fine now.
Was cheap, easy to put on, and does its job. Not as fun as the iSkin's with swirly colours tho.
