My idea is this, just separate the tools list on the main page into the two generation-sets of ipods.

Set 1 is the 1.x firmware versions, set 2 is teh 2.x firmware versions, and set 3 is something that will work for both.

Anyone want to comment on this?

Yes dennis, that is what i meant, sorry for the ambiguity. I like how the tools are setup as they are now, although it does become difficult to find downloads for my old 20giger with the new stuff flooding the downloads. So perhaps under each of the individual OS download headings, a set of 3- firmware 1.x,firmware 2.x, and all firmware.
