Ipod stays on after using iPod Updater 2005-06-26

Hi all,

I just updated my ipod using iPod Updater 2005-06-26 just recently...

I noticed that after I disconnect my ipod 4th gen from my Alpine KCA-420i it stays on......and kills the battery.....it used to turn off after maybe a min or two after I disconnect it from my Alpine radio 9800....why is this? What can I do?
