I just got the Griffin iTrip today after reading several very favourable reviews. When I tried using it, however, the reception was terrible, and I mean TERRIBLE. Range was nothing, sometimes it worked ok from three feet but at other times it was useless within inches.
My car stereo has never had any problems picking up radio at all. I'm wondering if it's how I installed the software. When asked where I was installing it I chose other (I'm Canadian). Thing is that there was a little map of Europe that came up when I picked other, should I have chosen 'United States'?
Is it something else? Can someone please give me some help with the iTravel, the concept is so great, I just want it to work properly.
