Hey I was thinking of getting this iPod Shuffle transmitter and, while my dad owns a shuffle, we also own both a regular 4G 20GB iPod and a 30GB iPod Photo. I was wondering exactly what cables you need to transmit audio from other kinds of iPods. I have a set of monster cables, is that all I need to transmit audio from different models?

Hello
My suggestion, without knowing what car radio headunit (HU) you have, is to purchase the "USA Spec iPod Interface" from Crutchfield.com. This $120 unit comes with a dock connector that is compatible with all iPod and Minis, as well as an aux in. The dock connector will charge your iPod, and give you pristine sound, and also allows control from the iPod and/or HU. The aux-in will allow you to plug a patch cord from the headfone jack on your Shuffle into the USA Spec. Thus, you can have a regular iPod and a Shuffle plugged in at the same time.
I plan on doing this myself in the near future.
cheers!
