Ok i've got Audible.com software to work perfectly! One last question,i've tried searching the forum but still can't find a suitable answer, that is,the Alarm feature on first gen 5gb Ipods, how do i activate it for use to wake up to music or beep or to use within the calendar function? The alarm function only offers these 3 options which are,"On","Silent",and,"Off",there's no sub-option to use it with any other associated features? My Ipod is using Windows Update 1.3 software and i'm using Xplay/Ephpod.Any pointers to an earlier step-by-step setup is greatly appreciated or other help.By the way,my timezone and clock are correctly set. With thanks in advance.

I believe the new features to work with the calendar and to wake up to music is a new feature of the 2.0 software only.

Sorry, but the 2.0 software is only available for the 3rd generation ipods. I should have made that comment in my last post.
