Hey all...

I have had a fairly high tech mp3 player long before this whole ipod thing caught on. The machine I own is called the pjb100. I believe Compaq computer actually made the machine. I believe it the unit I have has a 40 gig hard drive (way ahead of its time 4 years ago!) I want to know if there is any way to get my music from this machine into an ipod??? Any and all advice would be deeply appreciated. I am sooo ready for an ipod, even though the unit I own still works perfectly. I just don't want to go through the trouble of moving my music over. The software that came with my machine is called Jukebox Manager and there doesn't seem to be any way to do it through that. A picture of the unit I own is at the link below.

I guess I'm not "established" enough to post a link. Not sure I get the logic behind that, but, oh well.

Not being able to post a link is to stop the influx of spam.

If the system doesn't support the iPod then you can transfer the songs from the folder onto the iPod hard drive using software like YamiPod www.yamipod.com which goes on the iPod HD.

You need to post your OS and you can use a software compatible with it. You'll need USB or FW ports to plug the iPod into.

Thanks for the feedback. Honeybee...are you referring to the OS on my pc or the one on my mp3 player??? I'm running Windows XP on all of my computers (isn't everyone, at this point?). If you're referring to the mp3 player, I wasn't aware they had any OS, so I wouldn't have an answer to that question. Thanks again for any assistance in making this happen.
