Will Deleting Mp3 Files Mean Deleting Them From iPod?

Hiya, Recently brought an ipod and am using someone elses computer to use it. I plan to put albums into the library on itunes then delete the actual source mp3's from the computer (because the computers owner needs the space). Will doing this delete the songs from the ipod library and when it updates remove them from the ipod?

Any help will be much appreciated.

Well, heres what i think

first you put all of the music onto your iPod

then put your iPod into manually manage songs mode

then delete all of the music from the other person's computer

now, go to your computer with the music

go to this site. it will tell you how to get the music from your iPod to your computer.

I don't want to move the songs from my ipod to my computer, just trying to find out if it will delete the songs off the ipod if i delete the source mp3 files off the computer next time i come to use itunes when it updates.
