View Full Version : Ipod battery dies instantly from full when connected to PC

I have had my 20gb Ipod since april 2004 and for the first time this week i have a major problem with it! I'm using Windows XP and itunes with a fully charged ipod but everytime i connect my ipod to sync before itunes even recognises it the battery dies I haven't changed anything on my computer or ipod that could cause this since my last sync. Can anyone help??? please!!!

call apple
they'll help
but, you'll have to pay a processing fee
and you may need a new battery
extend your warranty with the apple care plan
I think it coveres batteries
it will be cheaper than the processing fee + the battery replacement fee
