Ai-NET/RCA hook-up with Alpine head unit

So i ran an Ai-NET cable into my alpine cda-9827, then plugged in the rca cable to the Ai-NET cable, and then into the ipod. this works but there are a few problems and im hoping someone can help. #1, sound only comes out of my rear speakers when playing ipod. #2, i can still play the radio and CD player while the ipod is playing through the speakers. #3, i have no control over anything, even volume, through my head unit. can someone please help?

ok, so i fixed the problem. for all of u with an alpine head unit that has an Ai-NET plug in, leave the switch on the bottom of the stereo at normal, and then hold down f on the head unit, use the song change buttons till you get to where it saus "AUX off", sress the band change button and it should say "AUX on". now u have full control of the ipod's sound through your head unit.
