Hey, I'm new to this site, heard a lot about it and hope to make it a second home.

I have a brand new 60gb Ipod photo, and a shiny 2001 Dodge Dakota :D

Now, to my question, I've been hearing different things from different sites and people. I have a Alpine CDA-9847 cd deck. Does it have RCA imputs in the back? or the cd changer input ( this: Alpine KCA-121B
Male Right Angle Ai-Net to Female RCA Cable )? or nothing at all? I plan to take apart my dash and do this tomorrow.. so if anyone could help me soon.. it'd be very well appreaciated. :)

It does not have RCA inputs on the back. In order to connect your iPod to the CDA-9847, you will need either the KCA-420i iPod interface adapter (~$100) or the KCA-121B Ai-Net to RCA adapter (~$15). The HU does not come with either. One or the other will need to be purchased.

Sorry if I didn't answer you question directly...no RCA inputs, but does have Ai-Net interface. :)

You answered it great! I'm gonna try one more FM transmitter first then I'm gonna buy the Ai-Net to RCA Adapter. Thanks!

I have it as well. Wait, did, it got jacked last week. Either way, I just used the ai-net input for $15. Just gotta be careful controlling the iPod on the road.
