I'm thinking of buying of of the ipod-compatible car stereos where you plug your ipod into the stereo and control it from the head unit. But I have one concern: will this work if my ipod is set to manual, ie not synced to itunes?
I ask because I know that when I plug my ipod into my work computer's USB port to charge it while I'm at work, my ipod displays the "Do not disconnect" message and I can't play music on my ipod. I was wondering if this problem would crop up when I plug it in to the car stereo.
