The 40 gig isnt that much bigger in size. Not enough for me at least to think about getting a smaller one. Im halfway through my 40 gigger. Its worth it. I actually came really close to just getting a 20gb. Now that Ive gone past 20 gigs with my collection im really glad i didnt.

Had a feeling the 20Gb would be the most popular - afterall you get the best deal really.

I have 1000's of Cds but have learnt that I only put on my iPod what I want and not EVERYTHING I own!

I was worried about filling it but I have 15% full and am more than happy (for now and it is only a week since I bought it!)

3G 20GB.

I like the look of the minis...but I love being able to carry pretty much my whole collection with me. It allows me to listen to just about anything according to my mood.

The bulk of what's on my iPod is rock/pop - but there's also a smattering of country, jazz, classical, and even comedy. I'm only about 1/2 full at the moment, but that's way past the capacity of a mini.

Yes, I know that with a mini you can rotate through material...but I'd much rather just have it all with me. I'm just waiting for an upgrade in a few years to a smaller, more colorful package with high capacity!
