iTunes will not recognize ipod. Win XP will. I can veiw the disk in Win XP & everything seems normal. I have a 2g 10G & have had it for about 3 yrs. I can eject the disk using Win XP 'Safely Remove Hardware' icon in the tray. I have tried to resolve the problem using the resources at apple.com (page below for reference you need to put the http: in front if it)

& I have religously gone through all steps to no avail. Since following all of the steps on the support page I have update iTunes, reset the ipod, used the latest updater (1.2.1 for my 2g). & still nothing helps. The only things I have not done are:
-- Restore my ipod
-- Re-install Windows
Any ideas?????? Thanks in advance.
