Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. I am running Win XP and itunes. I did not use my 4G ipod for a few days and yesterday I read a forum about the pop up Windows error msg about the itunes "corrupt" file here on ipod lounge and since running chkdsk via the "cmd" command, I am unable to see my music files on ipod in itunes. However, I am able to see the space of 18.7gb occupied (ipod is full) by all the music files on my ipod in itunes. Under Windows Explorer, I am also able to see all files and their properties. I also kept the menu button depressed along with the "OK" button to reboot / reset the ipod, I think, that's what it is called but this did not help.

Could someone PLEASE PLEASE HELP me to make things back to normal so I can see the ipod's music files on itunes.

Thanks in advance and regards,

Can someone pls help???? My ipod when used in Windows Media Player shows all music but the ipod itself shows no music, NOTHING. Even itunes shows an empty ipod BUT shows used diskspace of 18.55GB....I ran chkdsk and I think that may have caused the problem.

I may have lost my entire collection but I still have hope as the files are on there on the ipod, I just cannot see them or play them in itunes or ipod.

Could someone pls help me. This is driving me insane.

Thanks a lot!!
