I need better earbuds than ex71

I just got the ex71s and I don't like them very much. The bass is great, but that's about it. I would like earphones 32 ohms or higher with good bass and without a weird high-mid range. When I listen to music with my ex71s I have to listen with Treble Reducer for decent sound. For some reason they sound fine with my shuffle, but not my 30 gig photo. I just need some portable earbuds that I can just stick in my pocket. I didn't get the ex81s because I thought I would break the clips in my pocket

Look through the forum and read some reviews. Figure out what you want from the reviews and go from there. There are a ton of revoews for all the IEM's and many other earphones. There are many threads like this one so just do some reserch and if you have any specific questions after you read reviews and threads please feel free to ask.

Well, reviews = the reason why I got the ex71s and look where we're at now...

Have you thought about the Shure e2c? They are great IEM's and not that much more expensive. Depending where you get them you can try them for 30 days and if you do not like them you can return them. Check out www.earphonesolutions.com

Yea, I recommend the e2c's as well. I have them, they're a great set of buds. Very durable and solid sounding with great bass. They also come with a 2 year warranty.

I'm willing to spend a bit more now. I just really want some quality. Funny that the iPod is so difficult. With my Cowon iAudio Player(512) I used the cheap sony earphones and the sound was pretty good...
