Battery adaptor for old Ipod

hi,
I've been hunting all over the net, but can't find any gadget that will let me power my old Ipod by normal batteries... I see that Belkin have one on their website due soon for the new variety of docking ipods, but can't see any for the old kind.
Anyone know of any adaptors that can do this?

Here is a link to an external charger for 'old' iPods. Instructions for how to make one yourself as well as ordering them prebuilt - I have no first hand experience with this product but you asked and I found it so hope this helps.
