Weird problem with iPod pack-ins

I experienced some weird things with my iPod packed in earphones:

When I lay my iPod on a hard surface (table, hard floor, even books) I get some kinda weird static from the earphones. And when I for example stand up from a table, while the iPod is still lying on it, the sound gets turned off on one side or totally distorts.

At first I thought it might be the headphones that came with my 4G, but when I got a shuffle and started using it's earphones, I experienced the same problem.

It doesn't happen though with other headphones.

Anyone knows why???:confused:

I had the same type of problem. Generally you can

A. Buy a third party set of headphones.

or

B. Go to an Apple store or contact them, and see if they will exchange, even though the replacement pair could break too.

What you experianced is a commen problem in Apple ipod buds, and is why generally many people just buy third party headphones (like sony or koss).
