ive had my e2c's for maybe 4 or 5 months now, and I love em to death. Suddenly this morning, though, when I play anything through them, you dont hear the voices/vocal tracks at ALL (or VERY faintly) when i play them, unless I hold the cord at a certain angle which is a major pain... I was looking into a new pair anyways, so its not a HUGE deal if they are broken, but id rather they weren't. I do routinely wrap the cord around my iPod, could this be what messed em up? could someone let me know what not to do when i get my sony 81s or ety er6's so that this wont happen again? Thanks.

First make sure the sound tubes arents clogged, and if that isnt the case, there may be a problem with the cord, I have heard of cord problems with the e2c. If it isnt looking good, just call up Shure and send them in for repair
