I just returned a pair of PX100s. The sound was awesome, better than I expected, but I did not like how they fit. I am so used to my old Sony MDR-A30 -- yellow vertical in-the-ear headphones. They have large 16mm drivers but the bass is too weak.

There are two new Sony models: MDR-A44L and MDR-A35G.
Any advice on these? Are they any better than what I currently have?

I also like the design of BO A8s, but their bass isn't that great. What else would you recommend?

The Audio-Technica ATH-EC7 share the same design concept of A&0 A8 with better sound performance.

These phones have perfect weight, construction, comfort and sound! Overall these are one of the best portable headphones in its price range.

These look nice but $139.00 is too much for a pair of sport headphones.

it's strange -- EX81 have smaller drivers (9mm) but excellent bass? How come bigger vertical headphones suck?

bigger drivers doesn't necessarily mean better sound.

take car speakers. 5" drivers can sound like crap if they're not the right drivers. You could have the biggest car system in the world but if they're the generic factory speakers, they'll still stink.

The apple stock buds have pretty big drivers, and they don't sound that great. it's not the size of the driver but its quality.

My friend suggested trying behind-the-neck headphones instead and I guess I will give them a try. I am thinking about getting one of these:

Sony G74SL
Senn PMX60

Some people like sony's, others - senn's. Any hate/love stories????

Best for Sport!!!
Aiwa HP-SW10 Stereo Clip-on Headphone (http://www.warehouse123.com/ProductInfo.php?pid=AIWHPSW10-BLK)
Aiwa Swppos HP-SN51 Stereo Clip-on Headphone (http://www.warehouse123.com/ProductInfo.php?pid=AIWHPSN51-BLK)

What I like about these phones is the neckband design, and you don't need to worry if the headphones fall off. Weight is only about 10g, and sound quality of aiwa are promising. Should be a good choice!

I bought a set of the MDR-A35Gs two years ago. They sound better than the Apple earbuds. They are extremely comfortable.
