Hi, i had my inear earphones for almost half a year now. The white MDR EX81, i'm not sure if you guys know it or not, but anyway, if you don't please take a look at the Items Review under the headphones/earphones section.

Anyway, the right cable --> right earphones, the long extensions cable part, the problem occurs with the cable itself. I don't know why, as far as i can remember i never heated them ok ..i'm not that dumb......but i don't know why when i touch the cable, it feels like a noodle. It's so vulnerable, until i press em hard..it starts to crack and the wire inside starts to expose. Anyone know why this happens?

Are there any coatings to protect them? Dumb enuff i "taped" it and it was hard..but when i kind a twist it..the cable cracked open...and the wire was exposed. I don't wanna buy a new one...i luv this earphone....

Anyone anyone know what's goin' on here?

Generall the mdr ex series has very thin wire, it's just just the 81 model. the ex-51 and ex-71 has thin wires as well. To fix your crack, you can use a thin layer of clue and apply it on the wire. For more fexible matterial, use rubber cement.
