Hey now!
Great site and forums guys/gals. I just had a few questions perhaps you could all answer for me. I've used Sony v6/7506 and I agree they sound great but I find them just a tad bright for my own use even after a slight burn in period. Let me rephrase that. They only really sound bright when I play/run them through my Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speakers. Through my Computer/Ipod they sound fine ( iPod Mini 4gig 2nd gen / FW 800 Dual 1.25 g4 ). Was just wondering if an extended burn in period would lessen the harshness. I also have a question whether or not the iPod mini has enough oomph to power these cans. The Impedence is 63ohms I think!
Oh and one last question, has anyone used the Sony MDR-v900. I've seen these and I've heard very little about them in regards to how they sound compared to the v6/7506's. Better/worse? if anyone could fill me in on that or point me in the direct ( as the search function yielded no good results ) that'd be great! Or if someone could recommend perhaps some other cans of the v6/7506 level with perhaps slightly less treble harshness. One last thing. How do the ER-4i sound in compared to the v6/7506? I'd rather have a good set of headphones considering im not a fan of in-earphones but I have always wondered that. Hope I can get some answered Im confused! : )
