View Full Version : Ultimate Ears not returning my email or calls???

I placed my order for some super.fi 5eb canal phones on june 24th(about 10buisness days ago). As soon as I recieved the confirmation email of my order I emailed ulitimate ears with a request for a tracking number when my order was shipped. Just about every other day since then ive called to get an update on my order and when someone does pick up they just transfer me to so guys voicemail. Half the time no one pics up the phone. Now I still have not recieved an email replay nor a call back from them. I understand there on back order right now but how come they cant return my emails or calls? Anyone order directly from Ultimate ears experience this? thanks a bunch

The person who you usually talk to is Mike Dias, he's very busy at times and he usually return calls/e-mail very quickly. I might go to UE facility tomorrow so I'll ask about your case. Give me your name and order number, i'll ask them when I get my ear molds for me UE5c tomorrow.

I had a problem getting through, but once through they sorted out my problem straight away. The people who deal with the Super Fi's are not the same people who deal with the UE5c's it seems. I don't think it is in the same building, but I could be wrong.

I phoned the number advertised in the literature 866 837 7734 Ex4. Took about a day to get through, but I wasn't persistant. Welding on one of the wires in the cable was loose so sound occasionally broke up. Not a problem though as you can change the wire.

Okay just talked to mike today, he said the orders will be shipped tomorrow because they were shipping out pre-order the previous week. They first shipped the Super.Fi to Guitar Center, then to the Apple stores, then to some lucky customers with pre-orders. By tomorrow, the super.fi will be shipped out.

Thanks for asking mike about my order rx7. Did mike look me up specifically or was he just generally speaking about all orders? Did he mention if i would recieve an email with tracking number when it shipped? By the way how are your custom canal phones coming? Hopefully ill get them asap I cant wait.

He was very general about it cause he didn't want to make any Guaranties. But rest assure, he was pretty confident to tell me that by the end of the week, they will be shipped. They are a small company who has their hands full. When I was there, I saw Celine Dion's custom canal phone- kinda cool, they also have high profile clients like Kid Rock etc. So besides from serving the rich and famous, they are trying really hard to ship out the super.fi ASAP. Since you UE is a small company, they needs to build up their reputation with customers, and the more they delay the Super.Fi, the more people will get POed. So they are trying really hard to get those super.fi in your hands. It's just that they didn't expect such high demands.

well I got my ear impression today, bassically, they put this goo in your ears for like a minute. It feels like Gak (remember Gak? or play-doh) in your ears, besides from that, all I did at UE was talk to them about headphones. They said it will take 10 days for my canal phones to be complete, i'll let you know what sup as well as post pictures.
