There are too many Newb questions on this forum. If you are NOT a newb or DON'T have a question, post somethings that you love about your iPod or interesting tales about when you've used it or stories about library updates gone wrong.
**NO NEWB QUESTIONS ALLOWED**
I've only had my iPod mini for a month or so and have no interested tales or stories about library updates. Actually, I do.....
I used to have a crappy PC. One of those generic-brand computers that should be used to teach kids how to read and not for internet access. Well, anyway, I had my Pod plugged in and transfered some music from my pod to my comp via CopyPod (really easy PC port of Senuti). When that was done I started a burn of that music to a CD via iTunes (PC vers mind you). I walked away to turn on my gamecube and play some NFS:Underground while it was burning. About a half hour later or so, I went back to my com-poo-ter to check on the cd. What I found was horrible. The disc ejected, which means it was done burning (good), my iPod screen was blank (bad because it was "disconnected or ejected" correctly/safely), my computer screen was black/off (good because I hated the computer and had spent the previous weeks researching about macs and their rich, creamy goodness). Well, I unplugged my iPod from the computer and turned it on to see if I had lost all my music. I had NOT. Good. I checked the disc and it was finished burning. Good. I tried to turn on my computer. It didn't turn on. Good. I did some extra checks to make sure it wouldn't turn on. Mainly because if it didn't work, I'd get a new computer. This time a trusty iMac G5. It's nice by the way. Well, I spent about a week before I got my new computer and currently my piece-of-com-poo-s**t is in the garbage. I have had no problems at all on my iMac yet as I've had it for just under a week. But those few moments when the screens were blank, my heart was a'pounding.
Your turn....
