Hey,
I plugged my ipod into my computer (new laptop) today and it popped up something like you need to update your ipod, I clicked ok, the iPod updater came up, and i selected update.
It then restarted my ipod, told me to disconnect it, then it turned back on and showed the little thing that connects to the ipod and an arrow pointing from the connecter (i.e. plug the ipod in).
I plugged it in, but it isn't even recognizing it. Nothing beeps to show confirmation that the ipod has been recognized, and when looking under my computer, nothing shows up under where the ipod should be.
When i restart my ipod, it continues to do the same thing, then shuts off.
What's wrong?

Nevermind, fixed it: all i had to do was plug it into the charger and it updated and turned on. (Even though it was fully charged in the first place)
