I am new to this forum and did a pretty thorough search to find out if my question has already been answered...I know this topic is a exhausted one...
I plugged my ipod into a new itunes and clicked yes to the sync with the new library pop-up...I freaked out and shut down i-tunes in the middle of the operation and then safely removed my ipod using windows...
While most of the files will not play on my ipod, their info remains...ie song title and length of song...
The fact that the info has not been fully wiped gives me hope that I can recover the "lost" data...
any responses would be amazingly appreciated as I may have lost close to 6,000 songs!
