Help please..? Songs Invisible...

Sorry if this question has been asked before but I couldnt get an answer to this:

So I got a 20 GB iPod, 4th edition
At a friends house i put a ton of songs on it...
Wanted to burn a cd from some songs...
Download EphPod...
Copy songs i want to desktop...
Disconnect iPod...

WHAM all the songs are now (sort of) GONE..

I noticed that they're actually still there but my ipod cant see them. Neither could Ephpod untill i used the restore Database function. But now i still can not see (and therefor play!) any music on my iPod! this makes me very sad..
Could anyone PLLEAASSEE help me!!!

Welcome to the lounge. Sorry but I don't use EphPod. Why don't you use iTunes or some other software that has some support if you have a problem.

What OS are you using? XP, 2000, ME, 98SE, 98?

I'm having the same problem with my 20GB 4G iPod as well! Earlier today I plugged my iPod into my computer and copied some songs off of it onto my hard drive to burn a CD,using EphPod and then disconnected. A few hours later I turned my iPod on to listen to some songs only to find it seemingly empty. According to windows explorer I have all of the songs intact! My iPod even recognizes the fact that I'm using 7.17GB but none of the songs show up. I'm running windows XP and my iPod software is up to date. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thank you in advance to all those who reply.

where it says blank space, theres nothing there just incase... then youd open the blank space to find mopre nothing...
i think ive had this problem, and i just plugged my ipod in again, opened ephpod, closed it and disconnected my ipod, and its all good... the blanks refill with w/e playlist was there...

I'm having the same issue, but I'm not running EphPod, just iTunes. On a laptop, Win XP - works fine on other machines, but not this one
