I am looking to purchase the DLO transpod for my 02' Avalanche and have it direct connect to my AUX port on my Sony head unit. I love the new black one, but before I purchase it, I was wondering if anyone had the Direct or FM Transpod that also uses a skin that actually fits? I imagine an iSkin would probably fit, just trying to get a heads up.
Thanks. ;)

Nope, it won't fit. I stopped using my iskin because of the transpod.

know any skin that does fit? They HAVE to make a skin that just adheres to the Ipod.

Yeah there is some clear plastic stuff that is really thin it doesn't offer nearly as much protection as an iskin. What I ended up doing is just getting a little case for it that I can easily take it in and out of. It is much nicer using a naked ipod anyway.
At first I was just like you about my ipod. Completely crazed about scratches but then i realized that it is going to get scratched no matter what and there isn't much I can do about it. Not to say I don't take care of my ipod I do but if it gets scratched it gets scratched.

yeah, i hear ya. I know I am going to get scratches, just wanted to keep the screen somewhat "scratch free", because I have had mine for approx. 2 weeks and already have some minor scratches on it. Do you like the Transpod armandocerna? I want a direct solution and have the head unit to do it. I have tried many FM tuners and have been very dissapointed with the outcome.

So far I have just been using the transpod as an fm transmitter but I am getting a new HU with an aux in on wednesday so I can have perfect sound. We'll see how it goes. But all in all I am happy with it
