My sister graduates in a week and I've decided to buy her an iPod. I want to put a "Graduation" playlist on it before giving it to her though, and I need some songs about growing up/being grown up. Anyone have any ideas?

I hope you two use the same PC because if she uses a different one, the whole playlist will get deleted the first time she plugs it in (assuming she says to associate her iPod with her PC).

Then you just hand her a data CD with all the music files burned onto it. She opens up iTunes, then File > Add to Library... and there ya go.
I'm not sure how ironic you want to get with this playlist, but I personally would toss in Radiohead - We Suck Young Blood. Maybe also, hmm...
Wouldn't It Be Nice - Beach Boys
Graduation Night - Canadian Invasion
Wake Up - Arcade Fire
When I Was Young - The Animals
When I Grow Too Old To Dream - (old jazz standard, many versions)
Eighteen and/or School's Out - Alice Cooper
My Old School - Steely Dan
Some of Them Are Old - Brian Eno
A Very Good Year - Frank Sinatra
Sunrise, Sunset - (another old standard, covered by Bright Eyes among others)
She's Leaving Home - Beatles
