hey all, i have been driving around in my car with the ipod hooked to a car charger and then to a tape deck, as someone who is condsidered by my friends to be a bit of an audiophile this was not good enough at all. I had orginally intended on buying an alpine head unit and getting the alpine interface, i didnt do this because of the limit to the information displayed on the headunit and i did not want to loose control of my ipod and have to control it through the head unit at all times. i read on densions site that i could control it through the head unit and still use my ipod in a seperate mode. i was hooked, i bought a kenwood kdc-mp628 head unit, and the kenwood icelink, ran the wires for the icelink through my climate vent and topped it off all with a bracketron vent mount for the ipod. I COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED. this is such a great set up, it was worth every penny, charges, flawless playback, control through the head unit, and though the ipod, i love it.

how much did the dension ice>link cost you? wouldnt it be cheaper to just get an kenwood AUX cable?

it cost me 200, i wanted to be able to charge the pod and still have track control functions and all.

Why didn't you use the Denison Cradle that comes with the Ice>Link?

it comes with just a cradle, not a mount or anything so i opted for just getting the cable, and using my own cradles.
